Ireland’s Jennifer Crooks was runner-up in Saturday's main jump-off class at the four star show in Spruce Meadows, Canada, riding Olivia Cox-Fill's Dutch Warmblood mare SF Uryadi.

Crooks, who made her Nations' Cup debut for Ireland with the mare at St Gallen in Switzerland last month, finished the first round at Spruce Meadows with one time fault, but was fast enough to claim second place behind Canada's Ian Millar with In Style, who recorded the only zero score, thereby removing the need for a jump-off.

Crooks collected 10,000 dollars for her efforts, while Millar took home 15,000 dollars.

On Friday at the Calgary venue, Cork's Shane Sweetnam picked up a sixth place in the jump-off competition with Spy Coast Farm's 11 year-old stallion Amaretto Darco, again with a single time fault.
