A team of eight riders will represent Ireland at the UCI Track World Championships in Berlin.
The event which runs from 26 February to 1 March is a staging post for Olympic qualification.
The eight riders - Mark Downey, Felix English, Lydia Boylan, Lydia Gurley, Mia Griffin, Kelly Murphy, Alice Sharpe and Lara Gillespie - will compete across nine events including the Men's and Women’s Madison.
The Irish Women's Madison team are ranked ninth, well placed inside the qualification zone thanks to a string of big results including a top ten finish at the 2019 Track World Championships and eighth at the 2019 European Championships.
Ireland are currently ranked 18th in the Men's Madison but remain in a battle for the final Olympic qualification slot.
Downey and English will need to out-perform ninth-ranked Hong Kong by several finishing places to leapfrog them in the rankings and claim the final qualification slot.
