Martin is Mr Limerick, not in the beauty contest sense, but he can tell you everything there is to know, particularly about Limerick hurling, but he also has a keen interest in the exploits of the Limerick footballers too.

Martin’s enthusiasm for Gaelic games is clear for all to hear, and he likes nothing better than to commentate on, or troop the sideline looking for instant interviews from, all at the Gaelic Grounds, Croke Park, or wherever the programme takes him.

His favourite sports moment of all time is Nicky English's goal against Cork in the 1987 Munster final - and the man he’d most like to interview this season is Limerick captain Mark Foley having collected the Liam McCarthy trophy in September.
