Ireland have picked up their first three points in the women's Cricket World Cup in South Africa today.

Ireland's opening game against South Africa was abandoned due to rain. South Africa had chosen to bat first and had made 204-7 before rain stopped play.

The three other matches that took place today saw a similar division of points as organisers ordered the games to be abandoned.
