Reaction to Enda Kenny
The Fine Gael rebels wanted a date, they wanted a guarantee that the Taoiseach would step down. They needed certainty, or a motion of no confidence would follow.
Breathless build-up to the Parliamentary Party meeting ensued and then, just after 5:30pm last evening, up steps Enda Kenny.

Fionnan Sheahan, Editor of the Irish Independent, Alison O’Connor, Broadcaster and columnist with the Irish Examiner, Gary Murphy, from the School of Law and Government in DCU and Pat Deering, Vice Chair of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party, TD for Carlow Kilkenny spoke to us this morning.
