The Rolling Wave Sunday 2 October 2016

We have a new quiz for you on The Rolling Wave:

Christy Moore has a new double album just out called "On the Road" and we have vinyl copies to give to the winners.

The question is about a folk festival which took place in the late 70s and early 80s in a location on the west coast of Co Clare. Christy sings a famous song about the festival and if you know where it did take place then try your luck!

Answers to:

The Rolling Wave, c/o Peter Browne, Music Programmes, RTÉ Radio One, Dublin 4 or therollingwave@rte.ie or @Therollingwave

And congratulations to the two winners of our last competition: Mary Murphy of Rathowen, Co Westmeath and Joe Clarke of Summerhill, Co Meath.

Copies of The Blue Room CD by the Martin Hayes Quartet go to both and the answer was The Tulla Céilí Band.
