Seascapes, the RTÉ maritime programme with Fergal Keane. Seascapes brings you around our coasts and onto traditional and modern boats and yachts for a taste of the great outdoors.
We hear from Pat Lawless, in Ballyferriter, County Kerry, who has entered the Golden Globe round the world race, due to start in two years time. Pat speaks to Helen O'Riordan about his preparations and his hopes to become the first Irish man to sail solo, non-stop, around the world. David Hare speaks about a new RTE series of Great Lighthouses of Ireland, due to begin filming this summer. David is looking for any archive material or family memories that people might have of our lighthouses. He can be contacted by email: david@inproduction.tv Plus, we hear from the Afloat Irish Sailor of the Year, Tom Dolan.
