Emma McNamara

Emma McNamara presented business news on RTÉ Radio 1 from 2002.

Prior to working at RTÉ, she wrote for the business pages of various Irish broadsheet newspapers, both dailies and Sundays. She has also worked at Business and Finance magazine, and an online breaking business news service.

She has presented The Business on RTÉ Radio 1 and frequently edited the News at One before being appointed as an editor on Morning Ireland.

Emma grew up in Dublin and Toronto, then studied all sorts of things, from marine biology to Spanish, at UCG and UCD.

She plays tennis, watches rugby, couldn't name a single popstar and goes to the cinema .. maybe a little too often.
