Discussion and debate with Joe Duffy.
Joe spoke to Mary Hornsey, the mother of Paul Maxwell who was murdered by the IRA in 1979 when he was working on the boat which was taking Lord Mountbatten and members of his family fishing. She was responding to a tweet send by SF TD Brian Stanley. Joe also spoke to Kenny Donaldson who represents victims of the Troubles.
Ger Smith told Joe about growing up with a mother who had a severe psychiatric illness. He and his siblings were looked after by a nun, Sister Ann Thomas, who made sure the children were well looked after. She used to call in twice a day from the local convent. Her cousin Josie rang it to say that Sister Ann was like another Mother Theresa.
