Discussion and debate with Joe Duffy

Blister Packs

Some pharmacies have started charging customers for putting their medication into tablet blister packs and callers got in touch to share their concerns.

Car Fire Risk

Maurice got a letter in September from Opel to say that urgent action was required on his Zafira due to a fire risk in the heating/climate control system. However the nominated garage couldn't fit him in until January!

Alcohol Beside Till

After hearing callers on Liveline raise concerns about the controversial Penneys Hip Flask Bracelet, which has since been removed from shelves by the retailer, a caller got in touch about an issue they had with their local Centra in Kilcoole. They were unhappy to see vodka being sold beside sweets and confectionery in front of the till.

Pitch Invasion

When James flew to New York to watch a hurling game featuring his favourite team, Limerick, the last thing he expected was to end up in jail. However after he went onto the pitch to introduce his young son to the team, that's exactly what happened.

Missing Person - *Found*

Gardaí recommended that Olivia Bellamy got in touch with Liveline following the disappearance of her uncle. Update: He has now been found safe.
