Liveline Monday 6 November 2017
Dave Duggan called Joe about a van he bought six months ago, which is now in the scrap yard. Dave had asked John Lynch of Dublin Diagnostics to examine the car before he bought it. He rang Liveline after hearing Haulie O'Donoghue on Friday's show. Haulie recently bought a car from John Lynch, and that ended badly as well.
Bernadette McEvoy moved from Dubai to Canada more than a year ago. The container with all of her possessions in it still hasn't arrived - despite the fact that she paid €20k for transportation. The shipping company has gone bust, and now the container is stuck in Shanghai. Bernadette is especially upset about items of sentimental value that she can't get from China - a present from her father, who died when Bernadette was two; and all her photos of her mother who died recently.
