Liveline Thursday 13 February 2014
Gerry is in Ballyvorney in West Cork. He has no electricity for the second time in 5 days. They had no electricity over night. They are surrounded by fallen trees. He is wondering why a national state of emergency hasn't been called? Jossa says the road outside her home has been washed away and the only access she has is across two fields. The Liveline listeners discuss the impact of Super Storm Darwin.
Gillian and her family have received notice from her bank that in 3 months time they issue court proceedings to repossess their home. This will be the second time they have had their home repossessed. Only their current "home" is a 2 bedroomed garage which they have turned converted. She says the emotional stress is absolutely horrendous and they have begged the bank for more time. She tells Joe her story.
