Olivia went to her local National Driver Licence Service centre to renew her driving licence. It was chaotic. There was only one booth operating with about 20 people waiting and no ticket machine. She was waiting for over 2 hours. A lot of elderly people who were there did not have the correct documents with them because they dont have internet access.
Margaret's son Paul is 26 and paraplegic and has had a lot of medical complications since birth. In 2009 they moved house to accomodate his needs. She has discovered that someone in her situation is not exempt from the Local Property Tax.
Kate is a community worker in West Cork. She is annoyed at the way the National Payment Plan is being implemented. Its the new Government backed plan to get more payments to and from the Government made online. Lillian says there is an assumption that everyone is "online. They are not.
Michelle is 28. She always knew she was adopted. About 4 years ago she went in search of her birth mother. The exhanged letters but her birth mother did not want to meet her. She is angrly that adoption agencies seem to put the needs of birth mothers above those of adopted people.
