Liveline Wednesday 26 June 2013
On the 18th of September 2008 listeners phoned Liveline....they told Joe they were nervous of a possible banking crisis and what should they do about their savings.
On the same day two senior managers in Anglo Irish bank were discussing how to acquire finance from the government to keep liquidity in the bank.
They were laughing and joking about the situation, discussing getting civil servant jobs and drinking merlot.
Those callers from 2008 were back on air again expressing their anger and disgust at the content of that recording and the other recordings that have come to light this week.
