Farming is still Ireland’s most dangerous job and the latest sad story came this week with the coroner’s inquest into the death of 67-year-old Mayo farmer Tony O'Malley in a quad accident. Mayo County Coroner Patrick O’Connor called for Roll bars to be fitted to all quad bikes. To try and make some sense of the way forward in Quad bike safety, guests this morning included Pat Griffin from the the Health and Safety Authority, Pip Courtney from ABC TV’s LANDLINE programme and Co Laois, dairy farmer Paul Hyland.
