Author Andrés Barba's chats to Kay Sheehy. A Luminous Republic is his twelfth novel and set in the fictional town of San Cristóbal. The towns citizen's are targeted by a 32 strong group of children emerging from the nearby jungle causing turmoil. An outsider to the town arrives seeking justice.
Fiach is a new piece of drive-in theatre. It is one long car chase between a guard and a criminal set in Connemara. Kilkenny city officially gets a new museum. The Butler Gallery will relocate to John's Quay. The opening exhibition comes courtesy of one of Ireland's leading photographers, Amelia Stein.
