The Jacob's Biscuit Factory was one of the landmark sites of the Rising. It employed 3000 Dubliners in 1916, but on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, there was only a skeleton crew on the premises. DIT on Aungier Street now stands on the former site of the factory, and Julien Clancy went there this week.
