The Building of Hope Project - Derek Davis
The Building of Hope Project will bring practical help, education support and care to young people in the world. From our world of plenty we hope to be very generous and willing with our time and talents to give to those who are less well off than ourselves. Through fund raising, hard word and commitment, we will give our all in making the Building of Hope a real reality and success...

The Building of Hope's Project for 2012 is the construction of a Residential Home for blind orphaned children in Likoni, Mombasa. The current living conditions for these children is unacceptable as we witnessed at first hand during our 2010 project when the 200 volunteers visited the school and accommodation and were appalled that in this day and age children are forced to live in such conditions. It is home for 180 blind children and the volunteers expressed a wish to return and help change their lives. You too can become part of this team by volunteering or fundraising in 2011.

Volunteers Needed
We need 200 volunteers to raise €3,000 each and give 2 weeks of their time in January / February 2012.
