Last week the 2008 Temple Bar Irish Music and Trad Festival was on, and it was packed full of events from headline concerts to pub sessions. The one that caught our attention was a crash course in Irish culture. This was a two-hour course, sampling a little bit of Gaeilge, Sean nós singing and Sean nós dancing. Five Mooney culture vultures went along to the course - we check with reporter Brenda Donohue how they get on...

Now to some music, and someone who played here with Freddie White a few weeks back. His name is Albert Niland, he's from Co. Galway but his guitar playing is very far removed from the west of Ireland! Albert will be playing on Tuesday, January 29th at Roisin Dubh, in Galway, on Wednesday January 30th at Dolans in Limerick and on Thursday, on January 31st at the National Concert Hall in Dublin and on Saturday, February 2nd at the Seamus Ennis Centre in Naul, Co. Dublin. His new CD is called Live At The Paradiso, Amsterdam, and is available from his website: www.albertniland.com.

Philip McCabe, Development Manager of County Monaghan's Citizen's Information Service, is back in studio with more advice - this week, he helps listeners with queries on broadband, tax on substitute work, pension entitlements, and an SSIA that has lost money. For more Citizens' Information, visit www.citizensinformation.ie or Lo Call 1890 777 121.

We use the word 'miracle' quite loosely these days, but for our next guest the word has a very real meaning... Marion Carroll believes she was cured of Multiple Sclorosis during a visit to Knock Shrine in Co. Mayo. Her story is told in John Scally's 1996 book Marion: A Modern Day Miracle (published by Attic Press; the ISBN is 978 1855 941 557).

And we congratulate Mike White from Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, on winning €1000 of Mooney's Money! To find out how you could win €1000 tomorrow, click here...
