2FM Rising, the annual programme that profiles and celebrates new and upcoming Irish artists each year, is taking to the road and coming to a city near you this Autumn with Ireland's most exciting new music acts.

On November 3rd, join Tracy Clifford and pals for night two of the series which takes place in Dublin's legendary venue The Workmans Club. This line-up is going to blow the roof off the place.

, the Clondalkin hip hop/grime rising star has wowed audiences at his festival appearances this year. Fresh from releasing his mixed tape Sello tape, expect the vibe to be intense, with Gaelic Rap front and centre.

Unfortunately, Sprints won't be able to perform due to reasons beyond their control,

But we have the wonderful Fia Moon stepping in for what will be an amazing live performance.

Soulful. Honest. Heartfelt are just a few of the words that crop up time and time again in conversations around singer-songwriter Fia Moon.

Since the release of her first single 'Better Days', Fia has achieved massive radio play in Ireland, totalling 44 million impressions, resulting in her being the 4th most played independent female Irish act in 2020. An act not to be missed!

Our third act on the night are a former RTÉ 2FM Rising success story, THUMPER released their debut album in March this year. Touring extensively across Ireland, Europe and the UK and they join us ahead of their performance at the famed Airwaves Festival in Iceland.

On November 24th Tracy Clifford and pals take over Andersons Live, Sligo for the ultimate party night to close the series for 2022.

We are delighted to have not one but two success stories from the very first year of RTÉ 2FM Rising.

Le Boom have had a summer of festival appearances and late-night secret parties across Ireland and Europe, and they bring a taste of their magic to Andersons Live in Sligo - this is going to be special!

Another success story, the boys from Tullamore, Chasing Abbey will be joining us and making that stage bounce. Chasing Abbey are a dance pop trio from Tullamore comprised of artists Ro, Teddy C and Bee. Childhood friends, the trio are multi-instrumentalist producers and singers whose expertise helped skyrocket Chasing Abbey to unparalleled industry success in Ireland, as well as becoming award-winning artists for their debut self-release That Good Thing (winning the prestigious RTÉ Choice Music Prize Song of the Year award), simultaneously the most Shazamed song in the country at the time.

Lucy Blue is a current RTÉ 2FM Rising Act who is about to skyrocket to success! She had a prolific 2021 and that was just the beginning of her journey. Releasing her debut EP 'Fishbowl' to critical acclaim, she turned i-D and The Sunday Times in particular into early fans of her delicate song writing and performed at festivals across the UK including Latitude, Reading and Leeds. Set to become an undeniable year for Lucy, 2022 kicked off with her listed as one of the NME 100 & one of Clash magazine next wave 2022 artists and an EP which further showcases her as an undeniable artist to watch. We are thrilled to have her close out our Rising On The Road Series.
