Wind and high seas overnight have led to localised flooding at the Gibraltar road in Sligo and resulted in stones being thrown by the waves onto the promenade area in Strandhill.
The Gibraltar Road is closed this morning.
The promenade in Strandhill is also closed to traffic to allow clearance of stones and debris by Sligo County Council staff.
