An 80-year-old man has died in a road traffic accident in Belfast this morning.
He has been named as John Stewart Moore.
He was hit by a car on the Antrim Road in the north of the city at around 7am this morning.
The road was closed in both directions for much of the day but has now reopened.
The PSNI is asking anyone who witnessed the accident or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident to get in contact.
