An appeal for witnesses has been issued following a collision in Co Monaghan yesterday in which a man in his 50s died.
The collision, which involved a Road Roller Work Vehicle, occurred shortly before 10am at Shankill, Smithboro.
The man who was driving the steam roller was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was later removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
Garda forensic collision investigators carried out an examination of the scene.
