A major fire has caused tens of thousands of euro of damage at a premises in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, this evening.
The blaze, at Watson Hire, started before 5pm in the Lisnennan area of the town.
A number of fire service units battled the fire which sent a huge plume of smoke over the town.
It is understood there was also an explosion at the premises. Nobody was hurt in the fire.

A Health Service Executive storage unit next door to the building containing Personal Protective Equipment and other equipment was also damaged as a result.
A garda investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
The premises, which hires out and sells mechanical and building equipment, is owned by well-known local businessman John Watson.
Gardaí are asking all residents of Kiltoy, Gortlee, Ballyraine and Lisnennan to remain indoors and to keep their windows closed, especially those with any respiratory problems.
