A boy and a girl who were struck by another vehicle after they got off their school bus in Co Donegal yesterday afternoon are in a comfortable condition today.
The brother and sister were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following the accident near Mountcharles at around 4:50pm.
The teenage brother and sister are pupils at Abbey Vocational School in Donegal Town.
Principal of the school Geraldine Diver said that when news of the accident reached them their "Critical Incident Plan" was actioned.
Today school staff are speaking to pupils, and the National Educational Psychological Service (NEPS) and the Donegal ETB Senior Educational Psychologist, Martin Gallen, will offer advice and guidance to the school community.
