British police have said three people, including a police officer, were stabbed during an incident at Manchester Victoria rail station.
Police said they detained a man after the incident which left a woman, a man and the police officer injured.
Sam Clack, a BBC producer, was on a platform at the train station waiting for a tram when he witnessed the attack.
He said police used a Taser and pepper spray during the arrest.
British Transport Police said they were called to an incident at the station at around 8.50pm.
We continue to respond to an incident at #ManchesterVictoria station. The station is currently closed. Officers are at the scene and a man has been arrested.
