A collection of cartoons from a ten-year period in the run-up to 1916 and the Easter Rising have been republished.

The drawings first appeared in 'The Lepracaun Cartoon Monthly', which was an important satirical magazine in Dublin from 1905 to 1915.

Thomas Fitzpatrick was the magazine's proprietor, editor and chief cartoonist.
