The city of San Francisco has transformed itself into Gotham City to fulfil a young boy's wish to become Batkid.
When the Make-A-Wish Foundation asked Miles, a five-year-old boy who battled leukaemia, what he wanted for his wish, he said he wanted to be Batman.
With the help of dozens of volunteers, Make-A-Wish of the Greater Bay Area in San Francisco coordinated a series of staged events across the city.
Miles, dressed as Batkid has fought crime with his hero, Batman.
Thousands of people joined to watch Batkid save a woman strapped to a fake bomb and foil the evil schemes of Batman's enemy, the Riddler.
Miles has battled leukemia since he was a year old. His illness is now in remission and he started kindergarten this year
