A teenager has been arrested following the discovery of drugs worth €169,000 in Dublin.
As part of an intelligence led operation, Revenue officers seized 84,500 Alprazolam tablets in the North Dublin area today.
The joint operation - targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs - was conducted by Revenue's Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Coolock District Drugs unit.
The teenager was arrested by gardaí and he is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Ballymun Garda Station.
