Power has been restored to most parts of the southeast of the country which were affected by outages earlier today.
The ESB has said around 2,000 customers were without power following a lightning strike which impacted supplies in south Co Wexford as well as parts of Carlow and Kilkenny.
Power was restored to most areas by this evening.
It came as a yellow weather warning for thunder was issued for Leinster, Monaghan and Waterford.
The warning came into effect at 11am today and will remain in place until 3am tomorrow.
Meanwhile, today's meeting at Gowran Park in Co Kilkenny was called off due to thunder and lightning.
