The next 72 hours will be momentous in Irish politics.

Voting is wrapping up among members of the Green Party, Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil regarding whether they will form a three-party coalition.

If the deal is approved it means an unprecedented sitting of the Dáil in the Convention Centre Dublin to elect Fianna Fáil leader Mícheál Martin as Taoiseach, replacing Leo Varadkar.
