We all need a pick-me-up sometimes, and for three kittens frozen to the ground in Canada, a warm cup of coffee was just the ticket.

Oil worker Kendall Diwisch spotted the kittens frozen to the ground on his way back from one of the wells where he works in Alberta, Canada.

Unable to free them all with his hands, Diwisch poured his warm coffee over two of the kittens' tails, which thawed the ice, allowing him to carry all three to safety.

Diwisch posted online that the kittens, all males, had since been re-homed together.
