A Syrian refugee couple have been praised for their kindness and generosity after they prepared food for the homeless in Dublin.
The man and his wife, who live in Mosney Accommodation Centre in Co Meath, donated home-cooked food to a soup kitchen operating outside the GPO last Friday.

In a Facebook post, the Dublin Migrant Women Support Group said the man was in Ireland less than a year.
It said he "couldn't understand why the Government had welcomed him when there were so many already here in need of homes...
"Here was a young man with a family who had given up his whole life to flee war.
"Now he was in a new country, living in a direct provision centre and trying to put his life back together. And still, he had space among his concerns for those who needed help."
The group described the couple, who wished to remain anonymous, as "shy and humble".
