An appeal for witnesses has been issued after an armed robbery at a premises in Cork.
At around 1.50pm yesterday, a man entered a business on South Douglas Road, demanded money, held a male customer at knifepoint and threatened staff.
He left the scene with a substantial sum of money. No one was injured in the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to road users who were in or near South Douglas Road yesterday afternoon between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, and who may have dashcam footage, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to contact them.
