A man has been arrested in Co Limerick after barricading himself into a house in Abbeyfeale.
Gardaí received a call to an incident at a house on Main Street in the town at around 6.45pm.
Uniformed gardaí and plain-clothes gardaí attended the scene.
A man in his 30s had barricaded himself into the house with access to weapons, according to gardaí.
However, there were no firearms present.
The man was medically assessed at the scene and is now being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station.
