A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident which left a man with serious leg injuries following a row in Cork city on Monday.
David Burke, of Mount Carmel, Glasheen Road appeared before a sitting of Cork District Court this afternoon.
He was charged with assault causing harm to Luke Hayes at the junction of Magazine Road and Dorgan's Road in the city yesterday afternoon,10 May.
He was also charged with the possession of a knife.
Refusing bail, Judge Olann Kelleher remanded Mr Burke in custody to appear again before the district court on 18 May.
