A man has been arrested over the seizure of 10 suspected stolen dogs in Rathkeale, Co Limerick earlier this month.
The man, who is in his 30s, is being detained at Henry Street Garda Station.
On 1 August, Labradors, Springer Spaniels, English Setters, Cavalier King Charles and Huskies, were seized by gardaí and were put in the care of a local shelter.
Gardaí say that of the 10 dogs seized, just one owner has been found.
They said some of the other dogs have been rehomed.
