Two people were rescued after the fishing vessel they were travelling in lost all power off the coast of west Cork.
The 33ft vessel was stranded in Bere Haven Harbour, and a callout was put to the RNLI in Castletownbere.
A lifeboat crew was launched to assist the vessel during a severe weather warning and as Storm Hannah swept through the country.
The Operations Manager at Castletownbere said conditions were "very challenging".
In a statement, Paul Stevens said: "The waves are very high and there are strong winds blowing.
"We would advise everyone to seek shelter and not attempt to go out during the weather warning."
