A jury of nine men and three women has been sworn in to hear the case against a 44-year-old man accused of murdering mother-of-three Nicola Collins in a flat in Cork in March last year.

Cathal O'Sullivan was arraigned at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork and pleaded not guilty to the murder of Ms Collins at Popham's Road, Farranree, on 27 March 2017.

The trial, before Ms Justice Eileen Creedon at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork, is due to commence tomorrow morning.
