Cigarettes worth €1.2 million have been seized in Co Offaly, along with suspected cannabis herb and vapes.
The cigarettes were discovered when Revenue officers and gardaí carried out a search operation at a business premises in Co Offaly on Tuesday.
A follow-up search then took place at two premises in Edenderry yesterday. A number of cannabis-infused jellies and chocolate were seized, as well as THC and HHC vapes and suspected cannabis herb worth up to €100,000.
Around €4,000 in cash was also seized.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
