A man and a woman are in custody in Co Wexford following the seizure of €100,000 worth of suspected cannabis last night.
Gardaí made the discovery when they stopped a car at a checkpoint in Gorey at around 9pm.
Officers detected "a smell of cannabis," according to a spokesman, and the car was searched.
Gardaí found €100,000 of what appeared to be cannabis and which will now be sent for analysis.
The man in his 30s and the woman in her 20s were arrested and brought to Enniscorthy Garda Station.
They are currently being detained for questioning under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act. They can be detained for up to seven days.
Investigations into the discovery are continuing.
