Three men arrested as part of an investigation into a stabbing in Co Kilkenny have been released without charge.
A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A 22-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital after the incident at Love Lane, Castlecomer on Saturday evening.
Gardaí found the man injured on the street after being called to a house in the town at around 7pm.
Three men, two in their 30s and one in his 40s, were arrested by gardaí as part of the investigation.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses who may have been in the area between 5pm and 7pm on Saturday to contact them.
