A 43-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of 32-year-old Eoin O'Connor and 33-year-old Anthony Keegan, whose bodies were found in Co Meath nine years ago.
Ruth Lawrence, with a given address at Ross, Mountnugent, Co Meath was brought before a special sitting of Trim District Court this evening following her extradition from South Africa.
Detective Garda Raymond Flynn gave evidence that Ms Lawrence was arrested at Dublin Airport at 5.15pm.
Det Flynn told the court that she was brought to Trim Garda Station where at 7.45pm he charged her with the murder of Anthony Keegan and Eoin O'Connor on a date unknown between 22 April and 26 May 2014.
The bodies of the two men, who were both from Coolock in Dublin, were found on island on Lough Sheelin in Co Meath on 26 May 2014.

Det Flynn said that he cautioned Ms Lawrence, who made no reply.
Solicitor Danielle O'Sullivan, who was representing Ms Lawrence, applied for legal aid on behalf of her client.
Judge Cormac Dunne granted the application.
Ms Lawrence was remanded in custody and will appear in the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin via video link on 30 May.
