Rail services to and through Connolly Station will be suspended over the bank holiday weekend, and for two weekends in November, due to works being carried out to upgrade resignalling.

There will also be revised DART services and the Maynooth/M3 and Northern Commuter routes will also be affected from Tuesday 27 October to Friday 13 November.

Separate track works will also take place between Portlaoise and Limerick Junction tomorrow.

The works are part of the final phase of the €120m city centre Resignalling Project which Iarnród Éireann said will increase the number of trains which can operate during peak hours, improved punctuality and better reliability of signaling.
