About 1,500 members of the emergency services took part in a march today in Dublin to celebrate National Services Day.
The march is in its sixth year.
National Services Day is an official day of recognition, established by the Irish Government to thank all of Ireland's frontline, statutory and voluntary emergency and security services.
Today's march was followed by a display at Dublin Castle in which various services showcased their equipment and skills.
These included fire engines and Irish Army Bomb Disposal, while the customs dogs also played a role.
