A man has been arrested after an armed robbery at a shop in the Churchtown area of south Dublin.
The incident happened on the Braemor Road at around 7.30am when the man went into a premises armed with what gardaí believe was a knife and threatened the staff.
A quantity of alcohol was stolen during the incident.
A man in his 20s was arrested shortly after the robbery.
He is being held at Rathfarnham Garda Station, and gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
