A woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision with a motorbike in Dublin city centre this afternoon.
The collision happened on Amiens Street in Dublin 1 at around 1.20pm.
The pedestrian, aged in her 60s, was taken to the Mater Hospital following the incident.

The motorcyclist, who is in his 30s, is being treated at the Mater Hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Amiens Street is currently closed between the junctions of Talbot Street and Sheriff Street.
Talbot Street is also closed and Sheriff Street is partially closed.

The matter is now under examination by GSOC, who received a referral from gardaí earlier under Section 102(1) of the Garda Siochana Act 2005.
This section of the Act provides for the referral to GSOC by An Garda Síochána of "any matter that appears … to indicate that the conduct of a member of the Garda Síochána may have resulted in the death of, or serious harm to, a person".
As the matter is now under examination by the Garda Ombudsman, it said there will be no further comment at this time.
