Two people have been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a man in his 40s in Dublin on Sunday.
A man in his early 40s and a woman in her late 30s are being held at garda stations in west Dublin.
They are being detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 and investigations are ongoing.
Michael Tormey was shot dead in the front garden of his home on Thomond Road in Ballyfermot, while his wife and children were asleep inside.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for anyone with information in relation to the incident to come forward.
