An investigation is under way following what gardaí say was a public order incident in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

The incident happened near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre at around 5.40pm.

Two male youths were injured in the incident and have been taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí say that an investigation is under way, and they are examining a number of locations of interest. No arrests have been made so far.

An appeal for information has been issued, and gardaí are asking anyone who was travelling near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, to make it available to them.

Anyone who was near the shopping centre at the time of the incident and who may have mobile phone footage are asked to contact gardaí at Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01-6667000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
