A 19-year-old man has died and another teenager is being treated in hospital following a three-vehicle road crash in Dublin last night.

The incident, involving two motorbikes and a car, happened at around 10.15pm near Hart's Corner on the Finglas Road in Glasnevin.

The 19-year-old man, who was the driver of one of the motorbikes, was brought to the Mater Hospital, where he later died. A post-mortem examination is due to take place.

Another male, who is aged in his mid-teens and was a passenger on the other motorbike, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.

The road was closed for an examination but has since reopened.
